Khotso Sekhobo is the managing director of Namekhotha Trading. The company remains his brain child and he is astute and is very passionate about Namekhotha. He has over the past years developed key business skills which he continues to apply in running Namekhotha and in the furtherance of its strategic mandate. He is passionate about learning and development, espouses change, has finesse and uses any platform to build his capacities and leadership ability. He lives by the philosophy that learning happens everywhere and every time. His primary function is to unlock value for Namekhotha and market the business robustly with many stakeholders including conversion of business opportunities the company participates in. He has faced countless rejections in proposals submitted, no conversions in proposals/tenders submitted and a bleak future at times, but his steadfastness and confidence in Namekhotha has been the light bulb of the company’s business journey in recent years. Finally, he has skills in finance & accounting, sales & marketing, communication, human resources & labour relations, limited legal expertise, strategic thinking and managerial leadership and these were cultivated from academia, previous institutions he worked for and his current role in Namekhotha Trading as the jockey.
